September Update

So things are moving forward on the film.

The first piece of important news is that Professor Larry Engel who teaches here at American University has agreed to be my lead faculty adviser on the film. I'm very excited Larry is going to contribute to the film as lead adviser. He has given me very constructive feedback in the past as well as support in my more experimental endeavors at American University. If it wasn't for him the film "Pursuit" would never have been made. You can read more about Larry and his career here.

Also, I just purchased a high def camcorder that will allow me to shoot things as they happen during the next 4 months of production. I will still be using a high end high definition camera for my interviews and reenactment scenes but this new smaller one will allow me to always have a 2nd camera at the interviews and to be able to shoot more things on the fly. I said the next "4 months" of production because I am going to need to wrap up shooting at the end of January so I have enough time to edit and be finished with the film in May. Hopefully 4 months will be enough time to travel, meet with other bipolar artists, and gather all the media I need.
